Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple’s consumer-facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all media and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences.
The Channel & Partner Communications team at Marcom works closely with carrier, retail, and business-to-business partners in the US and around the world, helping to develop and implement communications featuring Apple products and services. Our job is to ensure that the work we make together adheres to Apple brand guidelines, reflects our corporate values, and meets the company’s standards for creative excellence.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Associate Creative Director whose primary focus will be in the social space. You should have a history of creating best-in-class work, and an understanding of what it means to be the custodian of an iconic global brand.","responsibilities":"Work with external partners to plan, create, and implement distinctive social executions featuring Apple products and services.
Evaluate strategic proposals, vet prospective creators, review scripts and edits, and attend shoots.
Stay up-to-the-moment on all things social, and develop a strong POV on what Apple’s approach to partner work in this space should be.
Collaborate closely with internal team members to ensure that partner social work aligns with our broader go-to-market objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional teams at Marcom.
Acquire a working knowledge of Apple products and services.
Preferred Qualifications
Superior writing and presentation skills, meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent creative judgement, proven track record of helping teams create their best work.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once, while collaborating with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in creating and guiding the development of traditional advertising.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years working at an advertising or social agency, or the creative marketing department of a large company or brand.
5+ years of demonstrated success in a creative management or leadership role.
Deep knowledge of social platforms, trends, and best practices.
Proficiency in social production methods.
Portfolio of creative work that demonstrates integrated campaigns, earned media efforts, and social-first thinking.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,600 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
