Description
We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated facilities professional to join our team and oversee facilities maintenance for Apple retail stores across the AMR West region.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in construction or facilities management, with a demonstrated focus on maintaining and delivering exceptional retail stores, workplaces, and/or critical environments.
Deep expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and executing technical services required to maintain and improve buildings - including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire alarm, janitorial, landscaping, flooring, lighting, furniture, warehousing, pest control, interior plants, and call-center services.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience working across all levels of an organization and a proven ability to handle customer service challenges in a professional and constructive manner.
Demonstrated experience building and sustaining relationships with facility operations teams, utility companies, government agencies, architectural and design firms, and general contracting firms.
Must be centrally located near a major hub of assigned retail stores, with the ability to conduct on-site visits a minimum of twice per month.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience is preferred.
Proven ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive Preventive Maintenance plans and the tools needed to monitor them effectively.
Strong judgment in balancing operational risk and investment, consistently pursuing the highest quality and design at the best value.
Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve maintenance issues, including experience prioritizing repairs and directing resources efficiently.
