Description
Apple is seeking a highly skilled and experienced international tax manager to join our global tax team. This role will team up with other tax team members and will be responsible for providing tax guidance to our business partners across various functions. The ideal candidate will possess broad technical expertise in US international tax law and exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders. Proactively identify tax risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and reporting requirements.
Build strong relationships and effectively communicate complex concepts to non-tax stakeholders and ensuring tax considerations are integrated into business strategies.
Assist with designing and the implementation of optimal tax structures for various new business initiatives.
Research, analyze, and document U.S. tax implications of business initiatives and alternative structures.
Proactively engage with the transfer pricing team to support tax reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Master degree in Taxation or JD with an LLM in Taxation.
A blend of experience from both public accounting or law firm, and in-house corporate tax departments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Taxation or Business.
10 + years tax experience of which at least 5 years are in complex tax matters with a concentration on international tax.
Extensive knowledge of US international tax provisions.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of management.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,800 and $268,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
