Job description

Apple TV is seeking a world class scripted Production Finance Senior Manager to support Apple’s original video content efforts worldwide. The Production Finance executive will report to the Head of Production Finance and assist in the financial oversight and management of Apple TV series productions.
Description
• Assist in the financial management of the budgeting, reporting, forecasting and daily production activity of Apple’s television series productions.
• Oversee timely cost reporting and analyze actuals vs budgets cost reports to ensure accuracy and quickly resolve any issues.
• Collaborate with Creative, Business Affairs, Labor and Legal in the creation and vetting of production budgets and strategically resolve issues to ensure an efficient process.
• Identify Production Tax Credit opportunities, prepare tax credit applications, track estimates, audits and timing of receipts.
• Review production cash flow projections and funding requests for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Assist in the contract review and cost analysis process in conjunction with Production and Business Affairs executives.
• Hire and manage freelance production accounting teams to ensure productions follow Production Finance policies and procedures
• Manage the setup of production accounting payroll and systems software.
• Ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and operational excellence
Experience with production tax incentives and related filing process
Working knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements and production payroll
Proficiency in production accounting software (Smart Accounting, PSL), Movie Magic Budgeting and Excel
Ability to establish partnerships with producers and production team
Proactive thinker who is able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Detail oriented with strong organizational, teamwork, problem solving and communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 15+ years experience in production accounting / production finance management
Bachelor’s degree required

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $194,200 and $291,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
