Job Summary:
Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider focused on federal agencies. The Appian Architect will provide integrated architecture support, guide clients on technical solutions, and mentor delivery teams on best practices for Appian solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success
• Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems
• Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
• Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration
• Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations
• Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 6+ years of related IT experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
• Active Appian Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Agile delivery
• Strong technical implementation skills
• Strong database design and development skills
• Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing
• Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes
• Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments
• Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a 'do whatever it takes attitude')
• Must be able to obtain and maintain federal government security clearance. U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) is required for clearance purposes. Active Secret clearance or higher preferred.
• Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required: RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion), Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Source Control (e.g., Git, SVN, CVS), Software troubleshooting and performance tuning
Preferred:
• Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
• Active Secret clearance or higher preferred.
