Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategicย Appian Architect / Product Owner to lead the design, development, and deployment of Appian-based solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Appian platform, enterprise architecture, and product management methodologies. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define product vision, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of automation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and objectives for Appian solutions in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serve as the technical architect for Appian applications, ensuring scalable, secure, and performance-optimized designs.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from key stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with business needs.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and architecture diagrams for Appian applications.
  • Lead the design and development of complex workflows, interfaces, and integrations within the Appian platform.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance on Appian platform capabilities, new features, and best practices to enhance development efficiency.
  • Oversee the deployment, integration, and ongoing maintenance of Appian applications.
  • Act as a mentor or technical lead for application developers and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Appian Architect, Technical Lead, or Product Owner with a strong understanding of the Appian platform.
  • Solid background in enterprise architecture, systems design, and integration.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience managing product backlog, defining user stories, and prioritizing features.
  • Knowledge of BPM, low-code platforms, and automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in Appian or related platforms are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Financial Services sector or regulated industries.
  • Prior experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
