Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design conversion of existing uniform styles into an innovative new design framework, requiring the creation of new apparel design specifications and detailed line art.
  • Develop simple sublimation artwork or update existing sublimation schematic work, potentially including trim schematic work, in partnership with internal studio teams.
  • Strategically simplify and evolve current uniform designs, which may involve significant aesthetic and graphic adjustments.
  • Engage in regular, critical check-ins with cross-functional design, development, and product partners to ensure seamless translation and execution.
  • Collaborate with product management to understand prioritization and with development teams on execution strategies.
  • Troubleshoot problem areas and confirm translation execution with cross-functional teams weekly or bi-weekly.

You will partner closely with cross-functional design, product, and development teams, collaborating to convert a large volume of athletic uniforms into a new innovation framework. Your ability to work effectively with internal studio teams for graphic execution and engage in regular check-ins will be critical to the project's success. This role demands a highly collaborative spirit, working with various stakeholders to achieve a unified vision for design transformation, directly contributing to the brand's legacy of excellence and inspiring athletes globally.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, specifically working with materials, trims, design principles, and fit.
  • Exceptional ability to apply foundational design skills, including illustration, across both analog and digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated creative agility, a positive attitude, self-awareness, and the capability to manage complex, competing priorities effectively through ambiguity to completion.
