CompHealth APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Monday - Friday 6 am - 6 pm with variable end time
  • 2 - 6 patient encounters per day with 1 - 3 daily admissions
  • 1:3 call ratio with 20-minute response time
  • Weekend rounding with surgeon
  • First assist duties in OR and vein harvesting
  • Procedures include A-lines, central lines, thoracentesis, and chest tubes
  • Primary surgeon handles first call nights and weekends
  • New consult evaluations as needed
  • We provide complimentary housing and travel
  • We arrange and cover costs for licensing and malpractice
  • We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
