  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Operations, Safety, Planning, and Engineering.
  • Develop expertise through hands-on involvement in maintenance strategy, CAPEX projects, and reliability improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical, mechanical, and structural maintenance activities for terminal equipment, ensuring high levels of reliability and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and maintenance requirements while maintaining adherence to terminal safety standards.
  • Supervise safety and preventive maintenance activities, promoting safe work practices and operational discipline.
  • Manage repair, upgrade, acquisition, installation, and commissioning projects for equipment and terminal infrastructure.
  • Oversee subcontractors and external maintenance providers, ensuring quality, safety, and contractual compliance.
  • Coordinate critical repairs, spare parts management, and maintenance execution with Operations Planning and Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Develop, maintain, and supervise technical documentation, specifications, procedures, reports, drawings, safety studies, and control system documentation.
What We Are Looking For:

Leadership expectation: We are looking for people who consistently put customers first, lead by example with respect for people, deliver results with integrity, and drive continuous improvement by solving problems at the root, developing people, and raising standards every day.

  • University degree related to the sector, preferably Industrial Engineering with an electrical, electronic, or mechanical specialization.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational maintenance and repair environment or equipment management role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, PLCs, automation, industrial automation technologies, and SCADA systems.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with condition-based maintenance, diagnostic tools, reliability management, and performance indicators such as availability, reliability, and MTBF.
  • Knowledge of port safety requirements and global standards including LOTO, PTW, and HSE practices.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contractors, conduct technical oversight, and make data-driven operational decisions.
  • High proficiency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated capability in root cause analysis (RCA), KPI management, predictive maintenance approaches, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Kaizen.
  • Ability to support long-term equipment modernization, fleet renewal, digitalization initiatives, CAPEX projects, sustainability, and energy efficiency objectives.
