About the Role

The Field Sales Representative US / MX is responsible for driving profitable growth within an assigned territory through new business development, account acquisition, and expansion of Maersk Logistics Services solutions. This territory-based hunter role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing opportunities across the United States and Mexico, primarily targeting small and medium-size businesses.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on new customer acquisition, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
  • Proactively prospect and secure new business through in-person meetings, outbound outreach, networking, and market development activities.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct customer discovery to identify supply chain needs and position tailored solutions across transportation, warehousing, cross-border, and international logistics services.
  • Sell the full logistics portfolio by aligning solutions to customer objectives and operational requirements.
  • Drive face-to-face customer engagement and relationship development to support new logo acquisition and account expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Pricing, Procurement, and Customer Experience teams to develop and close opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, including pipeline tracking, activity reporting, and opportunity management.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed defined KPIs, including activity levels, pipeline health, revenue, and gross profit targets.
  • Operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in a KPI-driven, hunter-style role focused primarily on business development.
  • Adapt to evolving business priorities, market conditions, and commercial strategies as directed by the organization.
Who We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of proven sales success, preferably in ground transportation logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented mindset, particularly with complex supply chain challenges.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary range: $90,000-$100,000 USD.
  • Commission paid quarterly, based on gross profit performance with no cap.
