Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the commercial strategy for APM Terminals Gothenburg in alignment with business growth objectives
  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships with shipping lines, logistics providers, and key stakeholders
  • Drive commercial performance through contract negotiations, business development activities, and revenue optimization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and regional teams to ensure strong customer delivery and business performance
  • Identify market trends, competitive developments, and commercial opportunities to strengthen market position
  • Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, with an ability to operate effectively in an international and matrix organization

Application and Security vetting

APM Terminals is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and national preparedness framework. A background check as well as alcohol and drug testing are always conducted prior to offer of employment. For positions classified as securitysensitive, a security clearance including a criminal records check is also required, in accordance with the Security Protection Act. Permanent employees may be assigned a wartime placement as part of the company's civil defence and contingency responsibilities.
