Job location: Atlanta - hybrid zip code 30328 (3 days a week in office).
We are seeking a hands-on Apigee Developer with strong practical experience building, securing, and maintaining enterprise APIs using Apigee.
The ideal candidate is a traditional Apigee developer whose primary expertise is API proxy and policy implementation. This role focuses heavily on hands-on development, troubleshooting, optimization, and support of API integrations in enterprise environments.
Experience with any Apigee platform flavor, including Apigee Edge, X and Hybrid.
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes environments is highly preferred, but the core requirement is strong real-world Apigee development experience.

- Configure and troubleshoot OAuth 2.0, JWT, API key validation, and related security mechanisms
- Optimize API proxy performance, scalability, and reliability
- Support API lifecycle management across development, QA, and production environments
- Troubleshoot API issues using Apigee Trace and logging/debugging tools
- Collaborate with backend application teams and cloud/platform engineering teams
- Participate in CI/CD automation and deployment processes
- Ensure API implementations follow enterprise standards and best practices
