Job Title: API Security Developer
Job Location Eagan, MN

Duration: Long Term

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced API Security Developer to support API security and integration initiatives for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, Java/Node.js, AWS, and modern microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain API security solutions.
  • Design and secure RESTful APIs using OAuth 2.0 and related authentication/authorization standards.
  • Support Okta to Auth0 migration initiatives.
  • Develop and integrate APIs using Java and/or Node.js.
  • Work with AWS cloud services and microservices environments.
  • Support healthcare API integrations using FHIR standards.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams to implement secure API solutions.
  • Troubleshoot API authentication, authorization, and integration issues.
  • Experience with Kong Konnect/Kong Gateway is a strong plus.
