Position Description:
Are you a seasoned Java developer with a passion for building robust scalable APIs? We are seeking a talented individual like you to join our team as a API developer and play a key role in shaping the future of the platform that we are building for the clients.
For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will NOT be available.
Candidate must be located in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, Pheonix, AZ, Denver, CO and work in the client Office 5 days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a senior API developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs that power to the system. You will work closely with cross functional teams to understand requirements come on architect solutions, and ensure scalability come on reliability, and security of the APIs. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, lead technical discussions, and drive the adoption of best practices and standards.

Looking for a Senior API Developer who has
• At least 8+ of Java/J2EE development, hands on troubleshooting and deployment experience. (Mandatory)
• Hands on experience working with cutting edge technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices.
• Design, maintain and implementation of API, microservices and backend components
• Work with API developers across the team to build new features at large scale
• Improve API standards and services
• Development and unit testing of Java RESTful services that integrates with external client systems
• Working Knowledge and hands on experience in DEVOPs tools like Jenkins, uDeploy and GIT
• Has knowledge of Kafka
• Hands on experience in IBM MQ.
• Strong Knowledge in SQL and No Sql
• Knowledge in any of the Cloud Technologies, such as AWS, Azure etc.
• Review Design Documents and provide feedback on approach and estimates
• Creates technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems.
• Translates detailed requirements into functional system designs.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, and also establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.
• Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work closely with diverse personality types and understand technical issues.
• Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development
