You'll be based at our Dallas clinic and own every sleep referral that comes through the door, from intake to results. We offer Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) at Dallas and Lancaster, plus attended in-lab studies. You'll be the single point of contact for all of it.
What you'll do- Intake sleep referrals from PCPs and our internal providers; log them and track every one to completion.
- Coordinate prior authorizations
- Dispense HSAT devices to patients at Cedar Springs: safety screen, hook-up training, log, and after-care.
- Receive returned devices, download the study, transmit to Dr. Brahmbhatt, and clean/disinfect for the next patient.
- Help with scheduling patients at your location and other locations.
- Send patient reminders, chase reports back to referring providers.
- Potentially help Track weekly KPIs (referral volume, auth turnaround, no-show rate, denials) and flag anything that's off.
- 1+ year of medical office experience — prior-authorization work is a big plus
- Comfortable on the phone; you'll be coordinating with insurers, PCP offices, and MA every day
- Sharp organizational skills
- HIPAA-trained (or ready to be before day one)
- Prior sleep-study, HSAT, DME, or CPAP/APAP experience, clinical experience with patients
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent clinical training
- Familiarity payer portals
- Bilingual English/Spanish
