The Senior Marketing Manager holds broad responsibility for the entire US Marketing organization and has in depth knowledge of email marketing and paid media operations. This role will oversee all vertical pods and horizontal enablement teams in Marketing. Reporting directly to the US Sales and Marketing Associate Director, you will manage multiple dedicated Pod Leads across business pillars including Cloud Activation, Ads Campaign Operations, YouTube Marketing (YTM) and Consumer Growth Marketing Operations. This role ensures cross-functional cohesion between these pods while working in close partnership with global teams across APAC to ensure the execution of global business objectives and immediate goals.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $230,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Work Schedule: Combination of Central and India Standard Time based on business needs.

Travel: ~25% within US based on business needs

Position Responsibilities:

  • Direct Reporting & Alignment: Report directly to the US Sales and Marketing Associate Director, serving as their senior point of contact and ensuring direct alignment between their strategic vision and the operational execution of the vertical pods

  • Global Partnership: Work closely with APAC Marketing Leadership and respective APAC marketing teams to align on shared goals and deliverables that are required from both US/APAC teams

  • Cross-Functional Scale & Quality: Ideate and lead cross-site projects that positively impact productivity, quality, and Customer Experience (CX). Deep dive to create Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and develop remediation strategies for escalations, ensuring seamless assimilation of process changes. Collaborate with the Process Excellence and Tools and Automation teams to ensure that optimization projects are prioritized and that the pods are driving efficiency globally

  • Manage Multiple Vertical Pod Leads: Directly lead, develop, and coach a team of managers, setting clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development plans across all vertical pods. In addition to regular coaching and mentoring to managers, hold frequent skip-level sessions with the wider team to guide and elevate their performance. Additionally, serve as a backup to Pod Leads in their absence (either short term or extended time off) and ensure that adequate coverage is provided to run seamless operations

  • Strategic Pod Oversight: Provide overarching direction to Pod Leads overseeing channel strategy, operational excellence, brand awareness, and revenue growth goals across high-impact programs

  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Act as the escalation point for each pod, managing executive stakeholders globally and ensuring that the specialized output required by the matrixed structure meets the team's global business objectives. Primarily accountable for the execution of projects, timelines, and resource management within their area

  • Program Governance & Performance Oversight: Oversee long-term planning including annual roadmaps and OKRs. Review and guide Weekly and Quarterly Business Reviews (WBRs/QBRs), ensuring consistent tracking of performance metrics, ROI, and proactive SLA management to ultimately ensure that the operations are performing optimally. Also lead people performance management for each pod (with HR)

  • Toolstack Governance: Ensure operational rigor across unique toolstacks (including tools like Marketo, Gamma, and GNP) and oversee the full lifecycle of integrated workstreams including intake, production, and data analytics

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in marketing required or a related field

  • 18+ years of experience in marketing operations and digital marketing including extensive experience in email marketing and paid media

  • 8+ years of experience with operating email marketing and paid media campaigns (i.e. Ads via social media, Google search, YouTube), including developing comprehensive media strategies across various digital channels

  • 8+ years of people management experience, specifically including managing managers.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-channel marketing programs

  • Strong experience in stakeholder management at senior/executive levels

  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and process transformation.

  • Excellent understanding of the online advertising ecosystem and various pricing models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with global teams and complex organizational structures

  • Experience with email marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Hubspot, Marketo)

  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership

  • Experience driving standardization, cross-channel process improvements, and maintaining rigorous performance standards (SLAs)
