Job description

This position is eligible for a $500.00 total signing/retention bonus!
$100 Monthly Perfect Attendance Award
Hourly Rate: $25.00/hr.
Hours: M-Th, 4:30pm-3:15am
Summary: To serve as an integral part of the Quality Assurance team in all requirements of the programming of the AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machines.
Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:
The AOI Programmer is responsible for creating, debugging, and maintaining all of the programs utilized on the AOI machines.
  • Create new programs for all of the AOI machines
  • Revise programs as needed to address changes in parts, templates, etc.
  • Implementation of all ECNโ€™s (Engineering Change Notices) into all applicable programs as specified
  • Debug programs to enhance the machines to operate as efficiently as possible
  • Oversee and maintain the program log
  • Assist in training operators on proper operation of the machines
  • Assist operators in researching and resolving part issues and discrepancies
  • Communicate directly with AOI machine manufacturer to resolve machine operation issues
  • Communicate and work directly with Spectra-Tech departments to resolve quality, production, and machine issues on a case-by-case basis
  • Proactively planning the creation of programs in order to support and have programs available at the start of production

  • Expertise in computer-based applications, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point)
  • IPC-A-610 Certification is a plus
  • Experience with SAP Business One, is a plus
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Interpersonal skills in communication and teamwork are essential. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education: AOI Programmer should have a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2 -3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing is required. Superior computer skills required including proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Physical / Cognitive Requirements: All work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
This position requires a pre-employment background check and drug test.
