JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Set up, operate, and maintain SMT production equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and solder paste printers.
* Perform machine programming, calibration, and changeovers to support production needs
* Inspect PCB assemblies to ensure quality and adherence to specifications and IPC standards
* Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and process documentation
* Follow all safety, cleanliness, and operational standards within the production environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
* 2-3+ years of experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, work instructions, and technical drawings
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* Hands-on experience with SMT equipment (pick-and-place, reflow ovens, solder printers)
* Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610)
* Experience troubleshooting SMT equipment and production processes
* Understanding of PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing workflows
* Programming experience with PCB's
PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems
* Knowledge of solder paste printing and reflow profiling
* Basic computer and data entry skills
* Experience working in high-volume production environments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
* Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
