Job description

Summary:
Operate Automated Optical Inspection Equipment and identify defects on circuit board assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Communicates and listens effectively in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Works as a member of a team.
  • Functions under time pressure.
  • Gets along with co-workers.
  • Accepts change in a positive manner.
  • Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment. Work in compliance with Microboard, OSHA and SDS safety policies.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the AOI machine.
  • Demonstrate the ability to load the proper program, load and run boards, and log defects as appropriate.
  • Proficiency with and working knowledge of Microboard MIS (Aegis) software is required.
  • Component Identification training is required.
  • IPC 610 Certification required.
