Description & Requirements

Join one of the nation's largest, most respected health systems and experience what it means to live well. Advocate Health is seeking a Family medicine physician to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients at Aurora Health Center - Franklin West in Franklin, WI.

Highlights

Franklin West - Internal Medicine

  • Reason for opening - resignation

  • The patient panel be a mix of inherited panel plus a start up

  • There will be 3 family physicians in Suite 116 and 3 internal medicine physicians in Suite 101

  • Suite is open 6:45 - 6:00 PM Mondays, 6:45 - 5:00 Tues - Friday. Our physicians are asked to work 100 hours extended hours per year. This is done before 8 am, after 5 pm or during the 12-1 lunch hour.

  • The call is managed by the nurse triage line where 85% of the calls are resolved without involving the physician on call.

  • What are the specialties at the site? Cardiology, Pediatrics, OBGYN, GI, Diabetic Education, Podiatry, Anticoagulation, Physical Therapy, Urgent Care, ACL Lab, Imaging, Aurora Pharmacy, Optometry,

  • What equipment do you have on site? Lab, x-ray (In building). We have Clinteck and A1C machines in suite 101. The labs are sent out daily for blood draws, cultures, and swabs.

  • Each physician has their own office and 3 exam rooms per physician They can also do procedures

  • The support structure includes each physician having their own MA and we have 3 Shared RN's for Site (covering 7 physicians for Triage, Medicare Wellness, Anticoagulation, Emergency Response, Education)

  • What does the patient demographic look like? We see patients 0 - end of life, all ethnicities, With Commercial, Government, and Medicaid insurance

  • How is the team dynamic? Do they collaborate with each other? Open door policy? Socialize at work or outside work? The team collaborates, and discusses coverage, and issues with each other.

  • New and experienced clinicians welcome to apply
