Registered Nurse - Plastic Surgery

Location: La Crosse, WI
FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per two weeks)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
No weekends, holidays, or call
Starting Pay: $30.46/hour (higher with experience)

Join a compassionate, closeknit Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team that values collaboration, kindness, and exceptional patient care. This clinic-based RN role supports patients throughout their surgical experience, with a strong focus on education, pre and postoperative care, and ongoing clinical support for both patients and providers.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and manage your own independent nursing schedule.
  • Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative education and nursing care for plastic and reconstructive surgery patients.
  • Perform incision and wound care, including management of wound vacs.
  • Serve as the primary RN for patient triage
  • Respond to MyChart messages and assist with prior authorizations and related documentation.
  • Learn and assist with tissue expander management for breast reconstruction.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams such as the Breast Center, Dermatology, and Facial Plastics in Otolaryngology.
