What You'll Do

Deliver Expert Technical Support

  • Provide high-quality technical support for ANSYS software users, addressing queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges to ensure their satisfaction and success with simulation tools.

Drive Pre-Sales Success

  • Collaborate with account managers to understand client needs, deliver engaging software demonstrations, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
  • Provide software recommendations based on specific customer industry and use case.
  • Support the creation of proposals that effectively communicate solutions and value to prospective customers.

Provide Consulting Services

  • Engage with clients to understand their analysis requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare detailed project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for consulting engagements.
  • Work independently or within small groups to build, post process, and refine customer simulation models using ANSYS tools.
  • Generate technical reports and documentation that meet client expectations and project goals.

Facilitate Training Programs

  • Lead training sessions for ANSYS software at client sites, online, and in SimuTech offices across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction to help participants gain a deep understanding of software applications and best practices.
  • Provide 1 on 1 mentoring services to customers.

What Youโ€™ll Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering; Masterโ€™s degree is a plus.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with ANSYS Mechanical (Workbench) and Mechanical APDL. Similar finite element analysis tools (ABAQUS, NASTRAN, etc.) acceptable.

Skills:

  • Analytical Skills: A strong foundation in structural mechanics and numerical methods, backed by hands-on experience in engineering simulation.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, including technical writing, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Pay range: Base -$70,000-$92,000 (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location)
