What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of sales opportunities, including technical discovery, negotiation of success criteria, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
  • Engaging directly with customers to understand their product development requirements and addressing application-specific design and simulation needs using Synopsys/Ansys tools.
  • Developing and implementing differentiating simulation solutions, integrating Synopsys/Ansys platforms into customer workflows, and becoming a recognized expert in high frequency electromagnetics.
  • Collaborating with product development teams to translate customer feedback into new product features, participating in testing new releases, and establishing best practices for application engineering.
  • Supporting field and digital marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, delivering conference presentations, and contributing to event activities.
  • Leading professional service deliveries, conducting training classes, and ensuring customer productivity through ongoing methodology support and technical guidance.

What You'll Need:
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or a related field (BS+5, MS+3, PhD+0 years of experience in engineering software environments).
  • Demonstrated experience with Ansys HFSS, STK, SIwave, Q3D Extractor, or other industry-standard simulation software (CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM).
  • Advanced knowledge of RF circuit packaging, PCB and connector design, and simulation methodologies.
  • Expertise in high frequency electromagnetics, microwave and antenna concepts, including S-parameters, wave propagation, antenna radiation patterns, scattering analysis, and component coupling/interference analysis.
  • Understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference, and experience with multi-physics implications on electronic devices (thermal, stress, reliability).
