Geospatial Imagery Analysis SME- Quality Assurance Analyst II

Geospatial Imagery Analysis SME/ Quality Assurance Analyst- II
The SME/QA II will report to the Enabled Intelligence Director, Quality Delivery. SMEs provide hands on technical support to Data Annotators, Quality Control Analysts to insure their success. SME's also perform Quality Assurance review as the final step before data is delivered to our customers. Analysts review labels created by the Enabled Intelligence annotation teams and identify, document, and correct errors as needed to ensure labeling campaigns meet contract accuracy requirements of 95% accuracy or higher. They will also document overall project error patterns and report them to Quality and Project Management.
Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite, real time expert level guidance to Data Annotators as they are working on projects
  • Provide expert guidance and support to QC Analysis on how to review/mark errors on images
  • Conduct QA of the QC to ensure 95% or higher accuracy rate as the final review before customer delivery
  • Review Project Metrics, Document project error patterns, and present information to Project Management
  • Review data to validate ontology and edge cases as part of the project kick off process
  • Work with QC and Annotation Team Supervisors to provide remedial support to team members who are struggling with performance.
  • Work with annotation team supervisors and the Chief People Office to learn how to work with people with different abilities, communication styles and workplace accommodations

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Geospatial Imagery Analyst or Geospatial Intel Analyst
  • Expert level experience working with Geospatial imagery including EO, IR and SAR
  • Expert level knowledge of Air, Naval and Ground vehicle order of battle
  • Previous experience doing QC/QA work with data annotation/imagery analysis
  • Completion of a formal Geospatial Imagery Analysis/Intelligence certification or training program
  • Passionate about working in a diverse, people focused environment and willingness to learn how to work with people with different abilities with different communication styles
  • Ability to work in the EI corporate office located in Falls Church, VA, Monday-Friday
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
