Admissions Director (Full Time)
Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital

Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Admissions Director to join our team.

About the Role
The Admissions Director plays a key role in welcoming new residents and ensuring a smooth transition into our facility. In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources.

  • Conduct facility tours and pre-admission interviews with prospective residents and responsible parties.

  • Explain facility services clearly and professionally.

  • Receive, review, and respond to admission inquiries via phone, email, fax, and in person.

  • Gather information from referrals and prepare summaries for team review.

  • Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to determine admission suitability.

  • Follow up with newly admitted residents to ensure a positive transition and satisfaction with services.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Compensation

  • $39–$45 per hour

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in a long-term care setting (supervisory experience preferred).

  • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs.

  • Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, and insurability under the company’s insurance policy.

  • Ability to represent the company ethically and professionally while maintaining accountability.
