Job description

Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series as well as upcoming feature film, Zac Power.


*Prioritising candidates based in Madrid or Spain and with a valid work permit to work in Spain/Europe. No remote opportunities available*


Reporting to the Production Manager, theProduction Coordinator is dedicated to a specific department and contributes to the successful organisation and production of the film. Working in tandem with the department supervisor assigned, ensuring the smooth running of the work of the department and the timely delivery to the following departments.


About you:

  • At least 3-5+ years of production coordination experience in animated film/episodic;
  • Must have solid experience in coordinating for the asset/design, lighting/comp or animation departments in animated film/episodic;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Shotgrid;
  • The ability to deal with Confidential information and material in a discrete and professional manner at all times;
  • Excellent diary management skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Patient and empathetic nature while dealing with artistic personalities;
  • High level organizational skills;
  • Experience in administration and managing files, producing and formatting documents and updating spreadsheets;
  • A good level of formatting and document preparation and presentation skills desirable;
  • The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure;
  • Be available, proactive and a problem solver;
  • A flexible approach and able to take on extra tasks when required.
  • Fluent in English AND Spanish language, both written and verbal;
  • Eligible to work in Spain/Europe. Spanish locals & Europeans open to relocation will be given priority.
