Job description

What will you do?
You will be part of the Feed team. You will be responsible for selling feed & farm supplies to our customers primarily and helping with other counter sales.
What are your job responsibilities?
  • You will be responsible for selling feed over the counter and in the field as needed.
  • You will work closely with the Feed Manager to maintain proper stocking levels, inventory aging, pre-season booking orders.
  • You will be also back-fill other parts positions as required. e.g. powersports, irrigation, farm supplies. This involves having a basic knowledge of the products we sell and being able to help customers with other sales besides feed as needed.
  • You will make sure every customer walks away satisfied - that means listening to what they actually need, following through, and going the extra step to get them the right product, even if it takes a little extra digging.

What kind of experience do I need?
  • Some livestock/animal experience would be helpful. e.g. being familiar with feeding livestock and working with them, as well as understanding parts inventory, sales, and stocking.
  • If no experience with the above, we can train you.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • A positive attitude and genuine willingness to help customers goes a long way here - we're looking for someone who takes pride in making sure the customer leaves happy, not just someone who can find a part number.
