Job description

Angels on Call is a premier licensed home care service agency located in Peekskill, NY. Currently serving New York State including Bronx County, Dutchess County, Orange County, Putnam County, Rockland County, Sullivan County, Ulster County and Westchester County.
Seeking Personal Care Aides with weekend availability to assist in service areas listed above. A New York State PCA Certificate is required for this position.
These placements are 1 on 1 and per diem with individuals in our local community who utilize the services of certified care professionals in various settings. Per diem work means that you will have complete flexibility over which shifts you accept, and right of refusal for any cases you are contacted for.

Required:
  • Must possess a valid NYS PCA Certificate
  • At time of hire, candidate must be able to provide:
    • Proof of current flu vaccination
    • Proof of MMR vaccination, including reference ranges
    • Annual Physical from preceding 365 days, indicating fit for work and stamped / signed by physician
    • Tuberculosis Status, either through:
      • Quantiferon Blood Draw within 9 months
      • 2 PPD Tests, one within 30 days and one within 365 days
      • If Positive provide a chest X-ray from within 5 years or a doctors note
