Job description

Visiting Angels is looking for an Support Professional to support our caregivers and clients. This position combines caregiver leadership, training, office support, and hands-on client care.
What You'll Do

  • Support, coach, and train Angel Caregivers
  • Help onboard and orient new caregivers
  • Assist with client Care Plans and caregiver training
  • Help resolve caregiver and client concerns
  • Provide approximately 15 hours of in-home client care each week
  • Assist clients with personal care, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, companionship, and mobility
  • Complete required documentation
  • Communicate with caregivers, clients, families, and the Support Team
  • Participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation as directed
  • Assist with general office and team needs
Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • At least 18 years old
  • Caregiving or home care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Compassionate and professional attitude
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to meet required background, health, training, and employment requirements
