Job description

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join the team in Hilo, Hawaii. This opportunity offers the chance to practice high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative and supportive environment on the beautiful Big Island. Key Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, GI endoscopy, and other specialties. Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care. Pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up, including pain management.

Supervise and/or collaborate with CRNAs and other members of the anesthesia care team. Participate in perioperative planning and safety initiatives. Respond to emergency airway management and codes when needed.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Hawaii Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Current ACLS and BLS certifications (PALS preferred) Sunshine Enterprise USA is an "Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities, Females, Veterans and Disabled Persons"
