Key responsibilities
  • Design and architect scalable, maintainable Android applications using Kotlin and React Native, with deep expertise in native Android module development

  • Develop expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, implementing native Android capabilities, performance optimizations, and platform-specific features
  • Mentor and guide a team of Android engineers, conducting code reviews and driving continuous improvement in development practices and code quality
  • Own integration with REST APIs and GraphQL services, ensuring secure, efficient data flows and implementing robust error handling and offline capabilities on Android
  • Lead mobile security initiatives including authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance with Android security best practices and data protection standards
  • Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Android, automated testing strategies (Espresso, JUnit, UI Automator), and Google Play Store deployment processes
  • Communicate technical decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and influence product strategy through architectural insight
