Job description

Description:

About the Role

Anchor Network Solutions is looking for a hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineer to own the technical delivery of client projects — with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. You'll lead implementations from discovery through handoff, working across a diverse client base in an MSP environment. This is a project execution role, not project management.

If you're someone who has spent the last few years migrating clients to Azure and M365, is comfortable with Entra ID and hybrid identity, and can still rack a switch or configure a firewall when the project calls for it — this role was written for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud and infrastructure projects: Azure migrations, M365 tenant deployments, Entra ID/hybrid identity implementations, Intune/endpoint management, Exchange Online migrations, Teams/SharePoint rollouts, and email security configurations
  • Deliver on-premises infrastructure work as needed: network refreshes (switching, routing, VLANs, wireless, firewalls), Windows Server/Active Directory, and hybrid connectivity
  • Manage the full project lifecycle — scoping, planning, execution, documentation, and client handoff
  • Maintain real-time documentation of configurations, changes, and project status
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams on milestones, risks, and next steps
  • Partner with Project Managers on scheduling, dependencies, and resource coordination

What Success Looks Like

Accurate, on-time project delivery. Clear documentation and communication. Clients who feel taken care of. A team that trusts your technical judgment. Consistent utilization. Continuing education.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • PTO, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 401(k) after 6 months
  • Training and certification reimbursement

Who Will Thrive Here

  • You take ownership: you follow through and communicate early when risks show up.
  • You look for ways to improve systems, documentation, and client outcomes.
  • You collaborate across teams and step in to help when priorities shift.
  • You ask thoughtful questions and seek the “why” behind a request.
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You build trust with clients and teammates through professionalism and consistency.
  • You adapt to change and provide candid, respectful feedback.

Anchor Network Solutions is an equal opportunity employer. If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application or interview process, please let us know.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3–5+ years of IT experience with a meaningful portion in project-based or MSP delivery
  • Solid, hands-on Azure experience — comfortable with IaaS, Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure networking, and cloud migrations (AZ-104 level or equivalent real-world experience)
  • Strong Microsoft 365 experience — Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and identity
  • On-prem to cloud migration experience (Active Directory ? Entra ID, file shares ? SharePoint/OneDrive, on-prem Exchange ? Exchange Online)
  • Networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, switching, firewall configuration, wireless
  • Strong communication skills — you'll be client-facing on most projects
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift 25 lbs (network gear)

Preferred

  • Microsoft Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-800, AZ-140, or AZ-120
  • Microsoft 365 certifications: MS-900, MS-102, MD-102, MS-700, or MS-721
  • Experience with MSP tooling (PSA/ticketing, RMM, documentation platforms)
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking background
