As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government wastewater facility, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government wastewater reclamation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
