Registered Nurse (RN) Part-time Opportunity
12 Hour Shift (7pm - 7am)
Established in 1986, the Anchor Hospital is a 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission that specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for Adolescents, Adults and Senior Adults. Located in College Park, Anchor Hospital serves Mental Health and Substance Abuse patients from all over the Southeast through our Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Outpatient, and Tricare program for active duty and veterans. We are committed to excellence in diagnosis, treatment and education. Patients who come to Anchor Hospital are in crisis, and the road to recovery for behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse patients is a difficult one. The staff at Anchor Hospital serves as compassionate guides who provide for our patients' clinical needs.

The RN promotes a therapeutic Milieu and provides quality patient care. RNs ensure that nursing resources are adequate to provide optimal patient care to a variety of patients which could include dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and/or psychiatric care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Anchor Hospital. In addition to the above, duties may include:
  • Processing patient admissions
  • Treatment plan development
  • Patient assessments
  • Medication administration
  • Medication education

This position's hours includes shift differentials (7pm- 7am weekend shifts only).

Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
  • Current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
