Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. Penrose Hospital serves as the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services with 300-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and physical rehabilitation. Job Summary and Responsibilities

We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. As an Registered ECHO Tech you will perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs while following standards of safe radiation practice. We ask that as a Registered ECHO Tech you always demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, and act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
  • HS GED or equivalent required
  • BLS through American Heart Association required
  • Currently registered as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
