Key responsibilities include transcribing dictations from pathologists, processing and tracking pathology material being sent to other labs for additional testing, coordinating surgical, cytological, and bone marrow case paperwork and slides for delivery to pathologist, and working closely with physicians and hospital staff. Other duties include answering phones, preparing documents, working
with other lab personnel, and assisting the pathologists and lab director in other various duties.
