Position Summary

The Sales Analytics Manager leads a team of Sales Analysts who deliver actionable insights, reporting, and demand generating recommendations for the Coffee & Beverage (C&B) sales organization. This role develops analytical talent, strengthens reporting discipline, and helps translate complex data into clear business solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Analytical Expert: Lead the analytical approach and strategy for the C&B regional sales team.

  • Own key analytical projects & reporting initiatives for the wider Sales Analytics and C&B Sales team
  • Strategize, advise, and provide analytical support for Sales Analytics and division sales leadership 
  • Drive gold standard analytical behavior, data integrity, reliability, and timeliness across a team
  • Deliver best-in-class reporting solutions, dashboards, and scorecards through the utilization of complex data and cross functional collaboration
  • Champion the creation and application of standardized reporting & Artificial Intelligence to drive efficiencies for the organization

Analytics Leadership: Coach, develop, and inspire a team of Sales Analysts that support the Coffee & Beverage Division's regional account team.

  • Set the analytical approach for the team and guide Analysts to deliver actionable business-relevant insights for the Customer Account Managers they support
  • Build analytical capabilities to elevate the team's analytical thinking, storytelling, stakeholder management, and overall business impact
  • Guide career development by providing coaching, training, and experiences
  • Create a team climate that drives speed, agility, courage, and collaboration
  • Establish a vision, sense of purpose, and understanding of how their individual work contributes to the larger purpose

Stakeholder Management:  Serve as the trusted analytical advisor for Coffee & Beverage sales organization and leadership team.

  • Build strong relationships by understanding stakeholder needs and driving value added deliverables
  • Partner with stakeholders to support their KPIs and strategic business initiatives
  • Demonstrate clear prioritization, communication, and decision-making
  • Lead with a customer service mindset

  • 5+ years of experience in sales/commercial analytics, reporting, category management, or related field
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, and leading people or teammates
  • Proficiency with Circana, Nielsen, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management
  • Experience manipulating, managing, and drawing insights from complex data
  • Proven experience driving insights, storytelling with data, and data visualization
  • Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Organization, accuracy, and excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the sales fundamentals
  • Strong judgement in decision making, good problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking
  • Proactively problem solves. Takes the initiative to quickly execute with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple team members, stakeholders, and business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing direct reports
  • Experience building team capabilities via onboarding, training, development and performance coaching
  • Knowledge of core business processes and fundamentals (sales/distribution, merchandizing, customer planning and managing, financial reporting, Integrated Commercial Planning)
  • Project Management skills or experience
  • Proficiency in PowerBi

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000-to $160,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
