Job Title: FP&A Manager Job Description The FP&A Manager will lead the standalone plant finance function for a manufacturing facility in Blanchester, OH. This high-impact, hands-on role oversees financial planning and analysis, operational accounting, and cost accounting while partnering closely with operations leadership to drive performance and cost efficiency. The position offers strong visibility within the organization and reports directly to site and regional finance leadership. Responsibilities Lead all financial planning and analysis activities for the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Perform operational accounting duties, including supporting accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities. Oversee the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends and translate financial results into actionable insights and recommendations. Support cost accounting and manufacturing finance initiatives, including product costing and cost control efforts. Partner with operations leadership to evaluate plant performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve operational efficiencies. Develop and maintain financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic business decisions. Present financial data clearly and persuasively to leadership, using storytelling to highlight key business drivers and trends. Participate in strategic negotiations and support conflict resolution with internal and external stakeholders from a financial perspective. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards. Utilize ERP systems, including SAGE and other platforms, to manage, reconcile, and report financial data. Work effectively with new and evolving systems, including cloud-based platforms, to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities. Act as the primary finance lead on-site, providing autonomous financial leadership and guidance to plant and regional stakeholders. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5+ years of accounting and finance experience. Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, and cost accounting. Strong understanding of month-end close processes and budgeting. Proven ability to analyze and interpret large, complex data sets. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial work. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution. Experience with ERP systems, with SAGE strongly preferred. Comfort working with new and evolving systems, including cloud-based platforms. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing is highly preferred. Experience with EAS 400 or similar ERP systems is a plus. Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and engaging way to non-financial stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner effectively with operations and leadership teams. Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate autonomously as the on-site finance lead. Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role based in a rural manufacturing environment in Blanchester, OH. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional extended hours as needed to meet deadlines and support critical business activities. There is some flexibility for remote work during after-hours tasks. The FP&A Manager serves as the primary finance leader on-site and works closely with plant operations and regional finance teams. The role involves regular use of ERP systems such as SAGE and potentially EAS 400, as well as cloud-based financial and reporting tools, in a fast-paced, data-driven setting.
