Description:

The Senior FP&A Analyst partners closely with the FP&A Manager, asset managers, and property teams to support financial planning and performance across a diverse portfolio of 50+ hospitality, multifamily, and commercial real estate assets. This role provides exposure across the organization and the opportunity to support business decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, basic accounting principles, real estate operations, and the ability to forecast the impact of current performance on future cash flow and profitability. This role regularly works with confidential financial and compensation information and requires exceptional integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with property teams to support the development and maintenance of annual budgets
  • Collaborate with property teams and asset managers to generate monthly cash flow forecasts for managed hotel, multifamily, and commercial assets
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support management, ownership, and informed decision-making\
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and management reporting to monitor operational and financial performance
  • Perform monthly variance and trend analysis for managed assets
  • Partner with property teams to improve forecasting accuracy and provide visibility into financial performance and key trends
  • Maintain and enhance complex financial models supporting cash flow forecasting and asset management
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency throughout the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 2-4 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and financial modeling in an FP&A environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and complex financial modeling. VBA experience is a plus
  • Experience in hospitality, commercial real estate, or property management is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to independently manage priorities, balance competing deadlines, and adapt to changing business priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident)
  • This position is based in our office and requires regular in-office attendance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at desk.
  • Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard and tolerate prolonged periods performing work using a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
