Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading a team of analytics engineers and analysts that builds the data pipelines, data models, and reporting that support Sales and Marketing Analytics. Responsibilities include managing the team's work and priorities; overseeing the delivery of reliable, well-governed data products that enable self-service analytics and sales and marketing performance reporting; partnering with business stakeholders to turn their questions into practical data solutions and clear recommendations; ensuring policies and procedures align with corporate vision; and selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies, and maintain confidentiality of company related business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor Degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years experience.
  • 5 years experience interfacing with external clients, large employers, brokers, or consultants OR 5 years experience in presenting analytic results to both internal and external audiences.
  • 5 years experience in requiring data analysis and information reporting related to healthcare data.
  • 2 years leadership experience.
  • Negotiation, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience supporting Sales and Marketing analytics, such as campaign performance, lead and pipeline reporting, broker/producer and channel performance, membership growth and retention, and customer segmentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and advanced SQL, including building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and datasets.
  • Experience with dbt (or a similar transformation framework) for modular, tested, and version-controlled data transformations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to frame ambiguous business questions, define the right metrics, and translate them into scalable data models and solutions.
  • Health care domain knowledge, including membership, enrollment, claims, and provider data, and handling of PHI/PII.
  • Experience leading and developing analytics engineering team members, including coaching, prioritizing work, and setting code and quality standards.
  • Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling, ELT/ETL pipelines, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience in a supervisory/management position, within analytics engineering, or data platform teams
