Job description

Overview
Senior Marketing Technology & Analytics Engineer

Kastle is seeking a Senior Marketing Technology & Analytics Engineer to build and manage the technical infrastructure that supports marketing performance, lead generation, campaign analytics, CRM data quality, automation, and revenue reporting.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing technology, AI automation, CRM systems, web analytics, customer/prospect data management, and go-to-market performance analysis. The position is designed for a technical marketing systems builder who can connect platforms, improve data visibility, automate manual workflows, support campaign targeting, and help marketing and sales teams improve conversion from website visitor to qualified opportunity.

This is a technical implementation and analytics role, not a traditional marketing operations role focused primarily on campaign administration or platform support.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement AI-enabled automations that improve marketing efficiency, lead generation, data enrichment, campaign execution, sales follow-up, and reporting workflows.
  • Build and maintain reporting that tracks the full funnel from website visit to form submission, lead creation, MQL/SQL progression, opportunity creation, pipeline, and revenue influence.
  • Partner with Web Development, SEO, Paid Media, Content, and Analytics teams to implement and QA website analytics tracking, Google Tag Manager, GA4 events, conversion tracking, form tracking, campaign attribution, and consent-related tracking requirements.
  • Support consent compliance efforts by partnering with web, legal, compliance, and IT stakeholders on cookie behavior, consent management, tracking permissions, and privacy-related analytics controls.
  • Aggregate, clean, segment, and visualize customer and prospect data from CRM, website analytics, advertising platforms, enrichment tools, intent data providers, and sales engagement systems.
  • Manage customer and prospect lists for marketing and BDR campaigns, including segmentation, deduplication, enrichment, suppression logic, opt-out handling, account ownership alignment, routing readiness, and campaign eligibility.
  • Support advanced CRM management, including workflow automation, field mapping, data architecture, lifecycle stage management, lead source tracking, attribution logic, reporting structure, and integrations with marketing and sales platforms.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing, BDR, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Web, SEO, Content, and Paid Media teams to improve campaign performance and sales handoff.
  • Support website conversion rate optimization by analyzing traffic quality, page performance, form completion, source attribution, user behavior, and conversion paths across paid, organic, content, and direct channels.
  • Analyze lead-to-opportunity conversion performance and identify process, data, routing, follow-up, or quality issues that may prevent qualified leads from becoming sales opportunities.
  • Support product, segment, vertical, and customer data analysis to help inform go-to-market strategy, campaign prioritization, targeting, and sales motions.
  • Maintain documentation for workflows, integrations, tracking logic, dashboards, campaign data processes, and system architecture.

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, conversion tracking, UTM governance, form tracking, campaign attribution, and website analytics QA.
  • Experience managing customer and prospect data for marketing campaigns, BDR outreach, ABM programs, segmentation, suppression, and sales follow-up.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, reporting logic, workflow automation, and scalable system processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify funnel issues, data gaps, campaign trends, and conversion opportunities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, BDR, Revenue Operations, Web, Product Marketing, and IT stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical systems and reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders.

  • SQL, Python, JavaScript, or API integration experience is a plus.
