Job description

We are seeking an Associate Solution Architect - Treasury & Tax Platforms to support the design, integration, and evolution of global tax and treasury technology solutions. In this role, you will contribute to system architecture across ERP platforms, tax engines, e-invoicing solutions, Treasury Management Systems, and banking connectivity, helping enable scalable, secure, and audit-ready financial operations. You will work closely with senior architects, product owners, engineering teams, and tax and finance stakeholders to implement API-first integrations, modern payment and e-invoicing connectivity, and compliant tax solutions. If you bring strong systems thinking, hands-on integration experience, and an interest in building enterprise finance platforms, we'd love to hear from you.

About You - Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Tax, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems, integrations, or solution-architecture-adjacent roles, with primary exposure to tax technology.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with one or more of the following:
    • Tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Vertex
    • ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Fusion
    • Treasury or payment platforms such as Kyriba or bank portals
  • 5+ years of experience supporting tax-related system integrations, enhancements, or compliance initiatives under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Exposure to multi-country tax implementations, e-invoicing mandates, or regulatory reporting initiatives.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

  • Solid understanding of finance and tax process flows across:
    • Order-to-Cash (O2C), with emphasis on indirect tax calculation
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P), including tax determination and validation
    • Record-to-Report (R2R), including tax reporting and reconciliation
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Indirect tax concepts including VAT, GST, sales and use tax, and withholding tax

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

  • Support the execution of tax and treasury solution architectures aligned with global compliance and finance requirements.
  • Assist in designing and implementing integrations between:
    • Tax engines and ERP systems
    • E-invoicing platforms and government or network gateways
    • ERP and treasury systems for tax payments and settlements
  • Contribute to solutions supporting:
    • Automated tax calculation and validation
    • E-invoicing, digital reporting, and compliance workflows
    • Payment processing and reconciliation through treasury systems
  • Help define and maintain tax-related integration standards, API specifications, and data models.
  • Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and security assessments related to tax and financial data.
  • Support testing activities including integration testing, UAT, and regression testing for tax and treasury flows.
  • Assist with documentation of non-functional requirements such as auditability, data lineage, performance, and recovery objectives.

Product You Will Be Developing

You will support enterprise tax technology solutions, integrating platforms such as ONESOURCE and Vertex with ERP and treasury systems. About the Team

Hours of Work

  • Full-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
