We are looking for someone who can effectively manage a marketing team, collaborate across departments, and develop compelling messaging that resonates with technical and industrial audiences. Success in this role requires strong experience in B2B marketing, public relations, campaign execution, and performance analytics, along with the ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution. Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, metal fabrication, or other technical industries is highly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL: Directly manage and mentor a team of 3 individual contributors Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team environment; set goals, provide feedback, and support professional growth Oversee day-to-day operations, workload distribution, and performance within the marketing department Marketing Strategy & Execution Partner with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's overall marketing strategy, aligning with business objectives and growth goals Collaborate with product managers to understand product roadmaps, features, and value propositions; execute marketing plans that bring product vision to life through campaigns, content, and collateral Manage multi-channel marketing initiatives, including digital (website, email, SEO/SEM, social media), print, trade shows, and content marketing tailored to B2B industrial audiences (manufacturers, fabricators, OEMs) Oversee event planning and execution in coordination with the Event Coordinator, including trade shows, customer demos, open houses, and sponsorships to generate qualified leads Oversee branding guidelines, maintain brand book and ensure compliance Lead Generation & Funnel Management Own responsibility for maintaining and optimizing a high-quality lead funnel; track metrics from awareness to conversion Implement and refine lead nurturing programs, marketing automation, and CRM integration to ensure consistent, high-intent leads for the sales team Analyze campaign performance, ROI, and funnel health using tools like Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and CRM data; recommend improvements to drive better results Public Relations & Brand Management Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the manufacturing and metal fabrication industries Build and maintain relationships with industry media, trade publications, influencers, and partners; secure earned media coverage (articles, features, case studies) Manage crisis communications when needed and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels Other Duties Budget management for marketing initiatives and team operations Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing tools/technologies relevant to industrial B2B Support cross-functional projects and contribute to company-wide initiatives as needed REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role Proven track record in B2B marketing, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, machinery, or technical/engineering sectors Experience managing a small team and collaborating with product/senior leadership on strategy Strong understanding of lead generation funnels, marketing automation, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), and digital analytics Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling messaging for technical audiences Proficiency in PR tactics, media relations, and content creation PREFERRED: Experience in trade show/event marketing and industrial sector PR Familiarity with manufacturing trends, metal fabrication, or capital equipment sales cycles Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media strategies for B2B Demonstrated success measuring and improving marketing ROI Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands: This position is very active and requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing of ladders. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
