We have an extraordinary opportunity for a silicon design engineer to drive and lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers working on groundbreaking technologies! The Apple Custom Silicon Management Group provides critical custom silicon for all mobile products including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AppleTV. We are looking for a remarkable Analog Design Lead to work with multi-functional teams and external vendors to define, develop and productize the next generation of custom silicon solutions.
Description
Imagine yourself at the center of our hardware development effort where you will collaborate with all disciplines, playing a strategic role of getting functional products to millions of customers quickly. As a part of the CSM (Custom Silicon Management) team responsible for the delivery of high-quality, on-time silicon, you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of silicon design.
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree and 10+ years relevant industry experience
Experience designing analog and/or mixed-signal IC blocks
Preferred Qualifications
PhD and 5+ years experience managing design teams
Experience with multiple tape-outs reaching production with first pass silicon
Ability to drive and improve design methodology to achieve high quality first silicon
Experience with FPGA emulation, silicon bring-up, characterization and debug
Able to work with multi-functional teams within Apple and external vendors across geographical boundaries to resolve architectural and implementation challenges with an eye towards schedule
