Job description

Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Lead manufacturing readiness reviews and communicate build strategies to cross?functional teams.
  • Review customer drawings and documentation for manufacturability and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, tooling requirements, and process documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Analyze quality issues, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Specify, evaluate, and justify equipment, fixtures, and special processes for production.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, test engineering, and production teams.


Qualifications of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).

  • 7–10 years of experience in PCBA, cable assembly, or electromechanical manufacturing.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing, preferably supporting military/aerospace customers.
  • Strong knowledge of IPC?A?610 and J?STD?001 standards.
  • Hands?on experience with Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and MES systems (Aegis preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and lead cross?functional technical initiatives.
