Job description

ASSEMBLER

FIRST SHIFT

START ASAP

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS diploma
  • At least 1-2 years of assembly experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in reading blueprints or engineering drawings
  • Able to use various hand and power tools

Job Summary
Working under direct supervision of production leads and limited direct supervision of production supervisors, assembles products in a manner that meets both the client's design criteria and customer expectations. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Drawings- Retrieve BOMs, sales / assembly drawings, and master comments from the QAD system and correctly interpret them. Evaluate product for correct performance and visual characteristics.
Standard Operating Procedures- Correctly interpret DPMs, SOPs, TPs, and BVs located on client's intranet. Input test results into the FPY database.

Team Player- Work as part of a team to achieve departmental goals

Safety Orientation and CBS- Manage work area in accordance to 5S principals. Apply continuous improvement techniques to the work area.
