What is an amputee?

Amputees are individuals who have lost one or more limbs, either through trauma, medical conditions, or surgical removal. This can include the loss of arms, legs, hands, or feet. Amputees may use prosthetic devices to aid in mobility and daily activities. Rehabilitation and support services play a crucial role in helping amputees adjust physically and emotionally to life after amputation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an amputee, and why are they important?

Both roles are interconnected within the healthcare industry, but they serve different purposes and require different credentials.
