Job description

This position is Remote and requires the ability to travel on average 75% of the time, including multi-day on-site client engagements.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not currently able to sponsor work visas.

“High-Fiver” Wanted: Customer Training Specialist – Field & On-Site Training, AMP Clarity

Are you the type of person who always goes the extra mile? Are you passionate about your craft and always striving to improve? Do you get so excited when you help a client out of a tricky problem that you high-five the person next to you? If so, you are exactly who we are looking for.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Customer Training Specialist to join our high-performing team and contribute to the continued growth of our dynamic young company.

About AMP (An NCS Company) AMP is an industry-leading technology company providing innovative solutions to car wash operators across the country. Our family of brands includes MacNeil, Ryko, Vacutech, PurClean, TSS, Rain-X, ArmorAll, Black Magic, Blue Coral, USA Towel, International Drying Corporation & Shadow.

What are we looking for?

You will be responsible for making sure our clients' on-site team members feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after their transition to AMP Clarity!

Here's what that entails:

Training Delivery

• Deliver on-site training at client locations before, during, and after Clarity go-lives, covering point-of-sale operations, membership sales workflows, and day-to-day system use, including hardware troubleshooting

• Host engaging, easy-to-understand training sessions adapted to the audience — site managers, cashiers, greeters, and tunnel staff all learn differently, and you meet each group where they are

• Support post-transition follow-up visits and refresher training (either onsite or virtually) to reinforce adoption and address gaps

Documentation and Knowledge Management

• Create and maintain training documentation, including quick-reference guides, standard operating procedures, job aids, and onboarding materials that stay useful long after you leave the site

• Continuously update training content as Clarity evolves, keeping materials current with new features and workflows

• Continuously evaluate and improve customer-facing documentation and support processes

Client Experience and Transition Support

• Serve as a trusted, approachable resource for client team members during the transition window, answering questions and reducing anxiety around change

• Represent a consistent AMP brand experience at every site visit, leaving each team with clear materials and defined points of contact

• Gather feedback from the field and channel it back to Implementation, Product, and Account Management to improve both the training program and the platform

• Coordinate with Implementation and Account Management teams to align training schedules with go-live timelines and site readiness

• Collaborate with AMP Support on launch transition and troubleshooting references

What we expect you to have:

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including multi-day on-site engagements

• Experience delivering engaging, easy-to-understand training to frontline or hourly teams

• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to turn complex workflows into clear, concise materials

• Proficient with standard documentation and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace); comfortable producing polished, visual job aids (Canva, Adobe, or similar a plus)

• Patience, warmth, and credibility with site-level staff; able to make people feel comfortable asking questions

• Comfort learning software deeply enough to teach it, troubleshoot common issues, and explain the reasoning behind workflows

• Strong organizational skills and self-direction; able to manage travel schedules and site readiness independently

• Exceptional writing and communication skills

• Comfortable leading training sessions, large meetings, and difficult conversations

• Experience working under pressure and balancing the demands of multiple stakeholders

Bonus points and street cred for the following:

• Car wash operating experience is a major plus — running a site, managing a tunnel, and selling memberships at the pay station area

• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), including building or administering course content

• Experience supporting software transitions, POS conversions, or technology rollouts

• Instructional design background or familiarity with adult learning principles

• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gamma) to speed up drafting training guides, job aids, and presentation content

Why work for us?

We have one of the most supportive and sustainable cultures anywhere. Our team of lifelong learners has a thirst for knowledge and a passion for technology and software. We're dedicated to building world-class solutions for our customers, and at the same time, place a high value on team rewards and personal career growth. We enjoy working together to solve challenging problems, teaching each other through lunch-and-learns, and celebrating victories (even the small ones) along the way.

Benefits you deserve:

• Highly competitive salaries

• Generous PTO policy and holiday schedule

• 401K plan with company matching

• Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance

But wait, there's more!

• World-class engineering team with an incredible track record

• Team-building events, outings, and hackathons

• State-of-the-art workspace and hardware

• Strong focus on community service and volunteering
