Sales Operations Manager – Burr Ridge, IL
Finkbiner Equipment Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Operations Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of our sales and rental operations. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue, supporting our sales team, managing fleet readiness, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership amp; Operations
  • Lead and support sales and rental teams to achieve performance goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Ensure high standards of customer service across all interactions
Equipment Management
  • Review and approve equipment repair and maintenance needs
  • Assist with annual forecasting of equipment and fleet requirements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment and attachments
  • Ensure all equipment is rental-ready and properly valued
Sales Support
  • Assist sales team with machine pricing, quoting, and technical expertise
  • Support customer demonstrations, walk-throughs, and field visits
  • Provide application-based guidance on machines and attachments
  • Prepare monthly invoice status reports for executive leadership
Used Equipment amp; Marketing
  • Manage listings on platforms such as Machinery Trader and Construction Equipment Guide
  • Prepare trade-ins and rental fleet units for sale
  • Collaborate with sales to create and promote equipment content
  • Maintain active presence on social media (e.g., LinkedIn)
  • Develop weekly equipment highlights and sales “hot sheets”
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment and safety regulations is a plus
