Job description

Position title : Contracting Support - Advanced Team Lead Location : Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), VA Clearance required : Active Secret clearance (eligible for TS/SCI) Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Serves as the senior contracting authority and team lead responsible for overseeing all ACASS contracting operations, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance across pre-award and post-award activities. * Provide strategic acquisition leadership, supervises contractor personnel, and directly supports complex, high visibility contracting actions aligned with AMIC mission requirements. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. * Minimum 10 years of federal contracting experience. * Experience exercising an unlimited contracting officer warrant. * Demonstrated expertise in: * Source selection and competitive acquisitions. * Defense and agency-level FAR supplements and procedures. * Cradle-to-grave contracting oversight. * Agile acquisition methodologies (CSO, BAA, OTA). * Proven experience leading teams and supervising contracting professionals. * Experience managing customer relationships and advising senior stakeholders. * Strong knowledge of acquisition planning, contract administration, and compliance frameworks. * DAWIA Level II or higher (or equivalent certification). * Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain). Desired Qualifications * Experience supporting AMIC or Air Combat Command (ACC) contracting missions. * Experience implementing process improvements, cycle time reduction, and best practices. * Prior Program Manager or Team Lead experience on large federal contracts. * Experience managing quality control programs (QCP) and supporting QASP execution. * Familiarity with organizational conflict of interest (OCI) mitigation strategies. * Advanced stakeholder engagement and executive-level briefing experience.
